Wifi troubleshooting steps

  1. Test connection speed here and here.

    If you are NOT getting advertised speed, try plugging directly into the router and re-testing. If you are still getting poor speeds it is your ISP connection or modem. If you are getting good speeds directly from the router, but not with a wireless connection, it is obviously your Wifi.

    Make sure your WiFi is on an un-congested channel.

    WiFi router and adapters on the 5ghz band.
